Live Every Day with Gospel-Intentionality
The Apostle Paul told Timothy…
2 Timothy 2:2 outlines four levels of disciplemaking where the gospel of Jesus impacts the world.
1st Level: Paul teaching
2nd Level: Timothy learning
3rd Level: Entrusting to faithful men
4th Level: Faithful men teaching others also
The strategy of 4th Level is three-fold. We seek to:
Resource leaders with materials for discipleship
Train and coach leaders in developing others
Strategize with leaders and provide direction to reach the next level.
Our goal is to provide equipping and resources for those who want to make an impact for Jesus Christ.
The 4th Level model is rooted in a structured and organic approach. Our approach seeks to identify the underlying layers that create a culture where leaders are equipped and released for ministry while providing enough flexibility to utilize one's personality and gifts. Much like a bowling lane, we provide the "structural bumpers" to keep your team or leaders out of the gutter while allowing you the freedom to "throw the ball" according to your own style and approach.
Jesus left us with a command in Matthew 28:18-20 to make disciples of all nations. But how do we make disciples? What does a mature disciple look like? We've created a Maturity Grid with 12 marks we believe every Christian should exhibit in their discipleship growth. These are not marks we try to exhibit in our own power, but rather, they help us identify areas where we can grow by the power of the Holy Spirit. Each mark consists of 3 sub-marks that further clarify growth and maturity in each area of a gospel-centered life.
To aid in this process, we've created resources such as lesson outlines that mentors/leaders may use to prepare for one-on-one or small group settings to mentor others into maturity. We've also identified other books and Bible passages to help you dive deeper into a particular mark of maturity. We've also created 5-10 minute videos to help ordinary Christians apply gospel truths to everyday life. These resources are meant to be used and passed on to the next level of leaders to use and continue the multiplication process. And because we want you to grow into maturity, all these resources are entirely free.
Growth doesn't happen overnight. Many of us learn in stages. And yet, if we are not careful, we can get so focused on the peak that we forget to rejoice in the steps we took to climb the mountain. Thus, we must remember to rejoice in every step of faith people take. It's a process. It's a development. But how do we begin to think about the developmental process? Well, we've got you covered. We've created a new framework and scorecard to help you reorient yourself to reach the next level.
So how do you begin to reach the next level? Don't worry we're here to help. We provide training and workshops for your leaders to establish a culture of multiplying leadership and maturity. Please contact us if you would like to discuss these opportunities with our team.
